About Us: Sharing Jesus

[ Listening | Responding | Welcoming | Sharing | Showing | Team ]

Jesus Christ is the centre of our lives, of human history and of the universe itself.  2,000 years ago, he walked our planet showing the Way to God; speaking Truth from God; and touching us with real Life – abundant life now, and eternal life one day.  Raised from the dead, and still alive, he sends us out with his message of hope and peace.

Having met this Jesus, it means that a Christian is like one beggar who wants to tell another beggar where to find bread.  We cannot but share what we have found.

We try to do that as part of our everyday lives: in our work and homes, living out our faith before those we know and love.  We also reach out beyond our immediate circle of friends and family, to share Jesus with our community, our nation and our world.

An important way we do this is to give enquirers the chance to ask questions about Jesus and Christianity – we regularly run a course called Start!.  Many have found it a helpful way in to Christian faith and life.
